(From Our Boecial CorresDondent.l . _ . The newly-elected Petone West School Committee do' not intend to let- the Brass grow under their feet. They have already begun to organise a bazaar lor the purpose of raising funds. At a meeting held on Wednesday, a large attendance of la--dies decided to • work every at 2.30. Mr. D. Robertson, assistant master, was elected secretary, a-nd it was decided to hold the bazaar during the first week in July. The Mayor of Petone is. convening a public meeting to bo held in St. Augustine's Hall on May 2 for the purpose of discussing matters in connection with the educational questions recently presented by a deputation from tho Wellington Education Board to the Hon. G. Fowlds.
