THANKS.
Mr. C. J. Crawford desires to tender his warmest' thanks to his supporters in the Mayoral campaign, and especially to those ladies and gentlemen who gavo their time and assistance in endeavouring to secure his return. He adds: "Considering that at the start of the election I was almost ail unknown man in parts of the city, there is every reason to be gratified with the very large poll recorded." Mr. W. H. Russell returns his thanks to those who supported him in the contest for the Hutt Mayoralty. In another column, Mr. E. P. Bunny thanks the electors of the Hutt'for his re-election as Mayor of the borough.
