In the same connection, Mr. Pollard brought an action in Madras against Mr. Rouso, who had intervened on behalf of tile children. Mr. Pollard claimed 50,000 rupees for kidnapping the children. A copy of tho "Ceylon Times," to hand by the mail, contains a telegram • from Madras, stating that • the High Court has- removed the children from Mr. Pollard's care, and has provided guardians for them, pending their return to Australia.
