KIDNAPPING ACTION. CHILDREN REMOVED FROM MB. POLLARD'S CARE. By Telegraph—Preas Association—OoDyflghL (Reis. April 27, 10 p.m.) Perth, April 27. Recently complaints were made to the Federal Government about the treatment of Australian children, members of • Pollard's, Opera Company, in India. In the same connection, Mr. Pollard brought an action in Madras against Mr. Rouso, who had intervened on behalf of tile children. Mr. Pollard claimed 50,000 rupees for kidnapping the children. A copy of tho "Ceylon Times," to hand by the mail, contains a telegram • from Madras, stating that • the High Court has- removed the children from Mr. Pollard's care, and has provided guardians for them, pending their return to Australia.
