Y.M.C.A.
On Friday last the Y.M.C.A. Literary and Debating Society held their annual mooting, a large .number.of members being present. The report of the year's, work was road and adopted, the balancesheet being also read and passed. Then followed the election of office-bearers for the coming. Session, as follows:— R. Brown, president (reflected); ■ Messrs.. A. E. Budd, P. It." Waddy, H. N. Holmes, C. J. Nicklin, and Caughley, vice-presi-dents; Mr. G. Clark, organising secretary; Mr. C. Turnbull, treasurer. The Management Committee is, Messrs. D|ck,. : Eickensofl, Parton, Higgs, and- Gilbert.' An animated discussion followed as to" the best means of making tho 6ocioty as -useful and helpful as. possible. On day, May- G,' "a debate on the system of, leeislation will take place. '-
