DR. HENRY'S MISSION.

The meetings now being held in .Wei- I lington by Dr. Henry were continued yesterday,. Dr. Henry spoke to the New Zealand Club'at the Y.M.C.A. at the noon hour, and in the afternoon addressed a well-nttended meeting .in the- Vivian Street Baptist Church. . -.-.', A great attendance assembled 'at 8 o'clock in the - Town Hall, when ■ Dr. Henry chose as his subject, "Checking Up for the Last Time." The test'was ,2 Cor., 5-10, "For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ.' He said one great fact running through the Scriptures was that the actions of men were to be judged. The judgment, was one of the great certain soul-stirrmg and soul-searching facts of Holy Writ. As every man had a day of accounts, so had God. Martin Luther checked his account with God every night.' Jesus Christ was to bo judge.. That was an undoniable fact. A man that became a judge could not be an advocate. Christ on that day would no longer be a mediator between. man : and God. His mediatorial- chair would be empty. He would be the judge of men. , Tho judgment would be a question of the inherent worth of the soul, whether the life was for or against Him. It would simply be a revelation of the life already lived. There would be no alteration of the decision, by any. explanation, or information to be given; tno judgment would be absolutely final. There was no hope after death. "As the tree falleth so shall it lie." The verdict, would, be irrevocable. Dr. Henry closed an address which held the attention' of every person present by an appeal which was responded to bv a large number of men and women present. Mr. .Potts sang with great effect a powerful solo entitled The Great Judgment Morning." Dr. Henry speaks to-night in the Town-Hall on "The Funeral of the Soul." Dr Henry's subject at the Town Hall to-nisht is 'The Funeral of the Soul."
