: THE BBV. H. ; S. WOOLLCOIIBE'S .■■ r-: , VISIT. ■ The Rev. H. S. Woollcombe- has almost completed his three months' tour of the Dominion on behalf of the Church of England lion's Society. Ho has met with a most encouraging reception wherever he has been, and many new branohes of the C.E.M.S. have been formed as a result of his inspiring personality, and able recommendation of the ideals and aims of the society. ■He arrived in Wellington from Greytown yesterday, and addressed a meeting of men at Karori last ovening. This evening ho is to speak to a combined meeting of churchmen in St. Mark's Schoolroom. To-morrow, he addresses the clergy at the Hadfleld Hostel in the afternoon, and in the evening will be prosent at a C.E.M.S. Conference in St. Peter's Schoolroom, over which tho Bishop of Wellington iyill preside, and at which delegates will be present from every diocese and many branches in' New Zealand. This conference will mark an important epoch in the development of the C.E.M.S. work in the Dominion, as it is the first representative conference yet held in New Zealand on Friday morning a men's celebration of the Holy Communion will be held in St. Peter's Church at 7 a.m., to bo followed by a farewell breakfast to Mr. WooHcomuo at Godbcr's, at 8.15. Mr/ Woollcombe leaves for Sj'dnoy in tho Manuka on Friday afternoon, en route for South Africa, and will carry with him tho heartiest good wishes of thousands of men who have heard and appreciated his telling, earnest words throughout tho Dominion.
