SCHOOL MEALS.
AN AID TO SCHOLARSHIP. By Tolograph-Preas ABaoclation-OoDyrlKht. London, April 21. The report of the Board of Education on the working of the Provision of Meals to Schoolchildren Act shows that the average cost of meals supplied to London schoolchildren was twopence. The number of meals supplied during the first year of the operation of the Act was 2,751,326, and in the second year 9,671,789. Reports regarding tho United Kingdom as a wholo testify that tho children are brighter and . more efficient since the passing of tho Act.
