Carter and Company, Cuba Street, have just landed a grand lot of new millinery, costumes, jackets, furs, neckwear, and fancy drapery, Petone' blankets, flannels, etc., at special prices.
Meetings under the great united mission will be held this afternoon and evening. .
• Yesterday afternoon Messrs.. A. L. Wilson and Co.'s salorooms. were numerously attended by art collectors desiring to purchase somo of the water-colour drawings and oil paintings offered, but owing to the pictures not-reaching the reserve prices the salo was' not a complete one. The remaining pictures--will bo sold privately.
