ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES.
:COLLAPSE , OF A CEILING. . While some inen employed by Messrs. Mace and Nicholson were removing a portion of the top story of one of the buildings' in Willis Street, at-present being demolished .as. part of'the streetwidening scheme, a part of the ceiling collapsed, and came dow.n upon a man named-Charles Loane, who'was standing, on tho floor, uuderneath.; He was outand bruised about the face, hands, and legs, and was also, believed to .have sustained internal injuries. After being 'attended -,to .'by. Dr. ■M'Evedy, he was sent to the Hospital. He was able, to go home at night.
