The barometer has fallen in the northernmost districts, and a strong easterly wind, with a fall of three-tenths of an .inch since 9 a.m. is reported at Kussell. The skies have become overcast north of Auckland.. Fine weather has prevailed elsowhore, with light and variable winds. Present.indications are for a'falling barometer everywhere, and for a change ia the weather, first in the extreme north, with rising easterly winds, and in the southern districts, with freshening northorlics.
