TARANAKI PETROLEUM.
OFFER TO PURCHASE FROM ABROAD. (By Telegraph—Press'Association.) New Plymouth, April 20. It is authoritatively stated that tho Taranaki Petroleum Company has received offers from three soparate capitalistic concerns abroad to purchase their plant, rights, and property at Moturoa, and that negotiations aro in progress. The directors, in each communication, stipulate that any agreement made with thorn is subject to ratification by the shareholders. Tie shares aro rapidly hardening.
