The greatest i exports of pork and lard were in ISOU--1900, and' those , of lard increased nearly eight times as rapidly, as the population '■■The greatest exports of' beef were those :of •, 1901-5, namely, -108 million pounds per annum. If the. statistics had covered 1909'they'would have shown a great fall in exports of. meat and lard.
