LIVE STOCK SALES.

Messrs. Dalgety and Company,-Ltd., report holding a st-ock sale at-'Koromiko last week in Mr. J. H. R. Tripo's yards. The. report states:—We had a good yai'dins of over 10G0 mixed sheep, 2'heifers, and 1 ram, and they were all disposed of under the hammer with tho exception of one small pen of merino ewes. The attendance was good, and the bidding spirited. Prices ruled as follow:—Ewes, 2>tooth, lis.: f.m„ 25.; woolly lambs, sa. to 7p< 9d.; shorn lambs, ss. to*Bs.; fat and forward do., Bs. 9d., 9s. Id. to 10s. 9d.; owe lambs, 9s. 7d., fat wethers, 12s. sd. to 135.; 4 to 6-tooth, lis. 5 heifer, £3 10s.; heifer in calf, £4 17s. 6d.

Messrs. Abraham and "Williams, Ltd., report as follows:—At Levin on Friday more cattle than were advertised came forward. 400 head being yarded. Bidding for all classes were particularly brisk, beef especially being eagerly sought after, and every lot was sold undtr the hammer at nil advance on recent rates. - Sheep were yarded in average numbers. No. good lines of fats or forward wethers came forward.
