Commenting on the finding of the Nautical Court with respect to the loss of'the steamer Pericles of£ Cape Leeuwin, tho'"Standard" says:\. "The verdict in the Pericles caso is unsatisfactory, because it confirms repeated allegations that : tho Australian waters are not properly chartod. "It is possible that somo vessels which have figured as on Australian voyages liavo been similarly lost." Sydney, April 16. ; The Shipwreck Relief Society has donated £100 to assist the Pericles's castaways. THE TELAMON'S CARGO. London, April 15. The insulation of tho steamer Telamon, which, bound from Sydney to, England, reached Perim with a firo in her lower hold, has been partly destroyed. , Tho captain reports that half the apple cargo is in fair condition. Four thousand cases discharged wore all pulp. '
