JEWS IN GERMANY.

"The Germans must absorb the Jew in Germany, otherwise the Jews will dominate the country," declares a leading medical authority, Dr.. George Lomer, in a book on the racial question, says tho. Berlin correspondent of the "Standard."

Dr. Lomer begins by elaborating the superiority of the Jew in all professions in which brain power tells. The high schools of Berlin already tell a tale of the prevalence of education among Jewish children. One-ninth of tho Roman Catholic children of Berlin attend the higher grade schools, oneseventii of the Protestant children also attend these schools, but no less than two-thirds of tho Jewish ohildrcn- of the German capital recoive tho higher education. Throughout Germany the Jews form little more than l> per cent, of the total population, but 20 per cent, of tho children in tho high grade schools of the country are Jews. In the high grade schools of Berlin and other great cities the percentage of Jewish children is still higher, reaching 30, 40, and 50 per omt.

, Tho same predominance of the Jews is evident at the German universities. Among the Roman . Catholics 13 per 10.000, and nmong the Protestants 25 per 10,000, receive a university education, but among the Jews no fewer than 160 per 10,000 receives acadomio traming. More than half the doctors and lawyers in Berlin are Jews, and the same numerical predominance can dp noticed in most jjreat German cities. Tho Jews predominate also as university professors, as teachers, as newspaper men, as artists and architects— m short, in all brain-work professions. Dr. Lomor, who is himself a Gentile, professes to bo alarmed by the growing influence of tho Jews, j-s a Teuton, he regards their predominant power as a danger t-o the country and to Germanic ideals. Therefore ho recommends tho absorption of tho Jew by intermarriage. Then wijl the German rnco become a combination of nil tho host qualities of humanity. Jew and Teuton combined will renr a new and magnificent race, fit to control tho destinies of tho world.
