Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report on their Eketahuna sale, held on Friday, April 15, as follows :-Owing to the very rough weather, entries did not • come in up to advertised numbers, consequently the yarding was small. What was yarded sold well, and wo have to report a good sale, and a total clearance. Wo quote— Two and four-tooth wethers, 12s. lOu. to 13s. Id.; two-tooth wethers, 12s. 6d., lZs. 10d., to 135.; mixed lambs, to Bs. 3d.; small two-tooth owes, 2s. Bd. Cattle: Mixed weaners, 365. Horsos sold at from £5 to £9 10s. for hacks; heavier horses failed to find purchasers.

Messrs. Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report on their Levin sale held this week as follows:—A very heavy, yarding of sheep camo forward, composed chiefly of good lines of wethers and lambs. The latter were easier, owing, no doubt, to the rape crops being about finished. The demand for wethers was 'exceptionally good, all lines being eagerly competed for. Reporting on their Woodvffie sale on Monday, Messrs. Dalgety and Co. state:—A largo entry of both sheep and cattle was submitted to a good attendance of buyers, practically all lines changing hands. Two and four-tooth wethers, lls.
