Durine tho month.of Jiaroh, rain was more plentiful than in the previous months. These factors have of course, materially increased the output as compared with drier months. ■ Tho main shaft was extended a distance of '22ft., and the bottom is now 16ft. bolow the pito of No. 4 chamber, and the chamber is now boine - cut. Upon completion of thiß work tho crosscut will bo extended. Auxiliary Power suction gaa plant and oharcoal retort are now at the battery site; and overythine is in readinoss to proceed with the erection. • / The. monthly output is as followsV-The battery, crushed 3201) tons, yielding 1650 0z.,-valued at £6809 .6s. 7d.; -2050 tons were treated by cyanide, producing .lOßoz. value at £214:135. 10d. •
