PUBLIC NOTICEB, JOHNSONVILLE TOWN BOARD. PROPOSED SPECIAL LOAN. IT is hereby, publicly notified that the above 'Board proposes to Borrow (by way of Special Loan under "The Local Bodies Loans Act, 100S," and 'its am*udniDiits) tho sum of Eight .Thousaud Five Hundred Pounds, for tho following purposes, viz.— ' "." 1. To acquire land from Mr. ]{. lioUld for-a Catchment- - ■ Area in respect of a "Water : Supply -E2OOO 2. Providing a Sugply of. Water to ' the Town . and ' for Constructing Water-. ■ works and the necessary . ■ appurtenances, thereto ... £6500 .'And it ia proposed to make and pledge in respect of the first proposal a special rate of Jd. in the one pound sterling on the rateable value of tho wholo of the rateable property' in the Town of Johnsonvillc (with the exception of all that portion known as Newlands) as security for-the said Loan of ■ JBSOOO and the interest and sinking fund thereon. And in respect of the second proposal, it is propossd to make and pledge a Special rate of 2d. in tho one pound sterling 'on the rateable value of the whole of the rateable property as afore-: said, ag security for the said loan of ,£6500 and tho interest and'sinking fund thereon. And it is further proposed to pay out of. the said . loans tho cost of raising, them,- together -with the interest and sinking ■ fund thereon for the first year,'and-that the whole amount of'ttie Loans' shall bo repayable at the expiration, of a term of 25 years, computed from the first day of February, 1911.
