SALVATION ARMY.
Colonel Knight, Provincial-Commander of the Salvation Army,' will leave for Auckland next week to assist in conducting the .final meetings of Colonel Brengle's campaign. He will probably be accompanied by Stall-Captain Orauies. Colonel Knight will afterwards visit Opotiki and Tauranga. i .. At Newtown, Auckland, next Wednesday, Colonel Knight will uuito in marriage . Captain Norman Adams, of Mastorton, and Adjutant Charlotte Gardener, of Auckland, tiro well-known Army officers. Brigadier Holdaway, the young people's secretary of the _ Salvation Army, is at present on a visit to Gisborne. The- Army's city band played a fine programme of music on Wednesday night at the harvest thanksgiving meeting of the l'etonc corps. The building was packed to the doors, and Adjutant Gunn, of Wellington, was in charge. At Colonel Brengle's revival meetings in Wellington, AVauganui, Eltham, and l'almerston North, 283 persons declared their intention.of leading a new life..
