A REJOINDER. . (By Telegraifh.—Press. Association.) ' Dunedin, April 14. In connection with the remarks of ■ the Attorney-General, published recently, Mr. A. R. Barclay says: "On December 10 last the Hon. The issues may then bo put as follow:—(1) Is an estate of which the total is .£92, and the amount distributable to legatees only .£SO, a small estate? The answer must be 'Yes/ i (2) Was this small estate exempted altogether, as the Attorney-Gen-eral stated would be the case if the Bill were passed? The.answer must be 'No.' On the contrary, new duty was collected under the Act at the rate of nearly 16 per cent, on tho amount distributed. "What more is there to be said?"
