STRAND CAPE GUTTED. (Br Teleeraph.—Press Association.! | Wanganui, April 14. A firo broke out to-uight in premises in Kidgway Street occupied l>y Mr. Dustins, and known as the Strand Cafe, Limited. The building was gutted, and the contents destroyed. Owing to Mr. Dustin's absence from town, tlio exact insurances are not available, but it is iT<Z S - A ha T th > e stock is in sured for AJUU in the London and Lancashire, and that the building is also insured for .£3OO. ine adjoining premises escaped injury, save that Mr. Gaffaney, jeweller, had his stock injured by water.
