' ANOTHER CASE. . ffy Telecraph-Press Assodation-Oopyrißht Sydney, April li. A man, reported to be a passenger by the steamer Otway, was admitted \ to Sydney Hospjtal suffering frqni a-eus-picipus disease. The doctor at first declared that it was not smallpox, but strict precautions were taken pending further diagnosis.

Subsequently the case was diagnosed as smallpox. The patient has been removed to tho quarantine station.

HOW THE CASE WAS DETECTED. (Rec. April 11/ 9.30 p.m.) Sydney, April 14. The smallpox patient who called at tho Sydney Hospital so aroused the doctor's suspicion that he'had him placed on tho roof of the building. The casualty room, where he was first examined, and all who came ; n contact with him were fumigated.

. Mrs. O'Hara, a smallpox patient whoso case was cabled on April 10, is dead.
