TWO FIREMEN INJURED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.! ..; ■ Auckland, April. 11. ; An outbreak of firo occurred in ahous< in Grey Street occupied by Mrs. Daviea oh Saturday-night, and was subdued by the brigade when three rooms had.been destroyed. -. . ■'' ■"■ !' • In "consequence of a report that three; children were in the? back part .of the house, Superintendent Woolley and Deputy-Superinteudent Berry proceeded; to investigate. Both sustained burnsand■other injuries. The former was slightly injured, but Berry was,severely burned. It transpired that the children had been removed to another house. STORE AND DWELLING BTJRNED. Dunedin, April 11. Mr. M'Kenzie's store and nine-roomed dwelling combined, at North East Valley, was destroyed by fire yesterday while the owner was away spending-the week-end at Brighton. The store was insured for £100, and the stock, furniture, nnd effects for .£250. The names of the offices are at present not ascerfainable. '.
