The opening day's racing in connection with the Avondale Jockey Club's autumn meeting took place at Avondalo this afternoon. The weather was fine, and the course was in good order, while the attendance was large. Results are as follow:— MAIDEN PLATE HANDICAP. Six furlongs. Mr. J.
