'•'.■',- The circuit, quarterly meeting of tlio BoarpVof Management of the Taranaki Street Circuit met on Friday evening in the Bible Class room, Taranaki Streets- There was a largo attendance of officials, including ,tho Rev. S. J. .Serpell (in the chair), and there were blbo pitsent Rev.- J. R. Clark, Sisters Isabel and Hay of Tory and Aro Missions. The chairman re- ' ported that the work of the circuit was in a Wealthy "condition ; and distinct ''. signs of progress wero showing in al- : most air departments. The stewards presented a satisfactory balance-sheet. The . finances • in . connection* with ;'the..:work', of the . Tory'"and .Aro ~.Streets Missions ..were satisfactory, ',each.'showing a credit'balance ' Sister ■Isabel's resignation' of ■ her,'position"at Tory Street was accepted with regret. ; - Pleasure was expressed at; tlie deter- .'■ mination'of tho conference to establish ■a conuexioual paper.
