Missionary Lecturer, had been asked tof speak on "Missions and Commerce, "' and his statement was quite convincing! on tho obligation of commerce to mis-i sions and the necessity of the mis-* sionary enterprise side" by side with! commerce in our intercourse with oign nations. ■■-. - • .'
At a large evening meeting in .St.Andrew's Hall, Mr. Speer again gave'a magnificent address, and he was accomV pauied by the Hev. Lord William Cecily whose appearance on tho platform in 'Glasgow was looked forward to with much interest.
