Six hundred boxes of butter have been beached at Flinders Bay. ; .'■■•, The second officer, who, was on the bridge with the captain when the vessel struck,, said he checked t!ho bearings. He ha'd been round Cape Leouwin thirteen times. On the occasion of the disaster the Pericles was no nearer land than she had been on any previous occasion. The inquiry was adjourned till Monday next.
