PERU AND ECUADOR MAY FICHT. By TelcEraph—Press Association—OopyriKnt, London, April 7. As a result of the trouble brewing between the South American republics of Peru and Ecuador over the boundary question, the warlike feeling in Ecuador is growing. The Northern Republic of Colombia is prepared to back up Ecuador. The Peruvian Minister and Conßul at Quito, capital of Ecuador, have taken refuge in the United States Legation. FLIES IN THE OINTMENT. Now\York, April 7. The Washington correspondent of "The Times" states that the LatinAmerican quarrels have greatly perturbed the United States Cabinet, which had hoped to make the impending Pan-American Congress -at Buenos Ay-res the occasion of renewed demonstrations of goodwill.
