The exact areas, upset rentals, value of buildings and improvements, and the present lessees, are showing in,the schedule at the foot hereof. ■ Both Sections of Land have a frontage to a road, and are watered by a branch of the Mangaramarama Stream. '■• The new Leases will ho for terms of 14 years from the 24th day of April, 1910, and will be granted upon the same terms and conditions as appear in tho old leases, and particularly— (l). That previously to the expiration of the lease the valuations shall be made :by three valuers of (a) tho buildings and improvements on the land, and (b) the annual value of tho property excluding ■t such buildings and improve-^ ments.(2) That,a further lease for a term 'of Fourteen Years, containing the same provision as tho proposed new lease, shall be put up to auction at the upset rental so fixed, subject to payment by an . . incoming tenant of the valuation of tho buildings and improvements. ' "■ The highest bidder at or above the upset rental will be the purchaser, but in the event of there being no bidder at or above ' the upset rental, the leases will revert to the 'Council. The scheme, of leasing provides that salt's of similar leases "shall be held every fourteen years in perpetuity.
