Nearly 224 million yards of British linen goods were exported in 1909, or more than fifty million yards above the average of the past ten years. At the present.time, said the' president at the anuual meeting of Belfast Linen Merchants' Association, every power of the trade was strained to respond to the demand, with prices in sellers' favour all the time. The great outlet would still be the United States.
