Rub the batter into the flour,-add all tho dry ingredients. Beat the. eggs with the milk,' then mix all into a rather soft paste. Divide in half, roll out, put sone half in a greased baking tin. Cover with apples thinly. ■ ■ sliced, and a little sugar, roll 'out'the 1 rest of the paste, and' cover. Pinch ,the edges, bake. in a moderate oven.' .When cooked,', cover yithr icing sugar and cut into fingers. o"': . ' FOR TO-MORROW. ' Five or' 61b. brisket of beef, carrots, turnips, suet, cauliflower, 1 egg, lemon. • FOR SUNDAY. Tomatoes, stock, 1 : jog of mutton, jgjgal stuffing, dates, breadcrumbs, suet. FOR SUPPER. One chicken, mayonnaise, chocolate, gelatine,' J pint ■of cream,' essenjo of : vanilla, - i pint custard; ingredients for trifle. ' -r.
