LODGE MEETING.
A pieeting of tho Independent Ordef of Oddfellows of New Zealand was held on Wednesday, evening in thelodgerroom, Boulcott Street, to receive an official visit from tho Grand Masr ter, Bro. R. Armiger. Two candidates were admitted to membership. The Grand Master delivered an interesting: address, making reference to the ad- ;. vancement reported during last year ■ bath in membership and in funds. He said that the consideration of the sick funds, which had been in contemplation : . so long, • and' which was completed recently, has proved of much benefit tc: tho order and was bound to increase its popularity as a sound institution.
