It .was decided that joint action be taken with the other sports bodies with reference to a conference with the Reserves Committee of the City Council on the subject of sports grounds, the object being to secure a' less rigid rule with regard to the use of the sports grounds in doubtful weather. , Permission was; granted to 'tho. St. James and Letter-Carriers Clubs to withdraw one team each- from their entries for tho competitions. /. At a large and enthusiastic. meeting Ixcld last evening it was unanimously iagreed to'form a Union Association Footfball Club, and to enter a team for the 'iWedhesday: competition.
