The Gorman boycotters of butter have strongly urged the removal of the prohibition on the importation of' Australian and New Zealand butter. [Inspired no doubt by the meat boycott in tho United, States, the Machinebuilders' and Metal-workers' Unions of Germany, . representing' several million consumers, recently organised a butter boycott. ■ The boycotters allege that tho price is kept up by tho hoarding of butter in cold storage.]
