The council of the Wellington Art Club has experienced some difficulty in obtaining suitable quarters in a central position, but arrangements are now ponding which lead tho council to hope for a satisfactory solution within tho near future. ' The art union for 1910 is progressing in a very satisfactory maimer, and the prizes, which, ore now on view in tho gallery of Messrs. Bcadn&ll and Sons, Willis Street, will be drawn for as soon as a few tickets now remaining havo been disposed of. The members of the club, numbering over eighty, are all artists, either amateur or professional, and as each member has contributed to the prizes the lesult has been, a highly in. foresting, collection, . .
