THE SUNKEN STEAM ER KOI.

SALVAGE ARRANGEMENTS.''

A diver and his assistant left for Nelson by the Pateena yesterday, in connection with the salvage operations on the Anchor Shipping Company's steamer Koi, which sank at. the entrance to Nelson Harbour on Wednesday night. A big effort to get the vessel shorewards will probably bo made to-day for a telegram _ received last nigirt states that the Nikau is remaining at Nelson until Monday; and advice has also been received to the effect that the Kaitoa, instead of leaving Wanganni for Wellington, has been diverted to Nelson. Thus the Waverloy, the Nikan, and the Kaitoa will all be at Nelson this morning.
