The winds in the rear of thocyclono decreased during tho night, and moderate southerly winds, with cool and changeable weather, have prevailed except in the extreme south, where conditions have been more unsettled. Present indications 'are for squally and unsettled weather in the southernmost districts, but' fair weather generally elsewhere.
