(By Tolegraph.—Press Association.) Dunedln, March 31. • The following Stock Exchange sales have been reported:— Standard Insurance, 235. . Muddy Terrace, 265. .MINE MANAGERS' REPORT. ; Golden Pah.-At the 80ft. level on tho oast branch tho reef is aliout lOin. in width aud looks very promising. Tne country is also favourable. In No. 3 stope the leader is about 4in. wide, and a fewcolours of gold were seen. In the rise M'Donald's leader is knocked about by a break, and colours of gold have been Eeen. Kuranui.—The Blyth low level. Eureka section, is along 33ft., and water is now making freely. The south drive-is now about 30ft. from the main lode, and a leading stopo has been started. The'shaft lode in the stope was broken 1 down, but no gold was seen. A second stope has now been started. <
Moanataiari—At the Cambria No. 4 level the hangmgwall leader has been cleaned out and repaired for 108 ft., but tho face has not yet been reached.. The Caledonia .No. 3 level on tho course of tho Red Cross leader is not yet through the Cambria reef, which is very wide at this point, and underlying ilat. What appears to be the cross lode is showing in the bottom of the drive. It is about 15in. wide, and carries good minora! indications. • May Queen.—A start has been made in tho south drive from tho Queen of Beauty shaft, No. 9 level, to break out quartz in the slopes. Work is also proceeding on No. 4 lode, north crosscut. The ore occasionally yields a little picked stone, and is of fair grade. . Eastward of the winze, towards the junction of the north-west lode, tho 6topes are now in working order. Stoping on tho hangingwall and footwall branches of No. 4 lode is in progress, and* from the quartz coming to hand, gold is frequently seen, and at times a little picked stone is selected. The value of the bullion won from the last crushing was £488 Is. fid. . ".: Waihi Beach—The main reef has been, driven upon for 39ft. The country is, becoming more 'solid, and the stone iB showing, a good deal of minerals. Occidental Consolidated.—Two feet have been driven seaward of the break. At each breaking-down since last Wednesday a little gold has. been seen in the ore. A few .stones could be classed as picked stone. - . ' '' ■ Tokatea.—The road level crosscut is in 57ft. The reef is 2ft. 6in. wide, encased in splendid mineralised country. The ' ore gives a little loose gold in the dish.- Five pounds of stone havo been secured, showing gold freely, but not rich enough to class as picked stone.
