Messrs.. Dalgety and Co. report as follows regarding their Palmerston Nortli sale yesterday:—Medium entry of sheep and cattle. Sheep are in good demand, and With the exception of one pen all lines were quitted at the following prices:— Sound breeding ewes, 95., 10s. 2d.; 10s. 5d., to 10s. 10d.; cull ewes, ss. Id. to 6s. 6d.; - Eomney rams, £2 2s. to £3 35.; mixed .weaners, to 215.; two-year steers, £3 155.; 2i-year : steers, to £4 10s; A good lino of 90 forward bullocks realised £6' 7s. .. Messrs. Abraha,mand- Williams., Ltd., reports—At tho Polmorston North sale on Thursday last; our entry consisted of closo on .4000 sheep, principally comprising inferior ewes and cull lambs. Bidding wag brislc throughout the sale for . all lots, and with the exception. of one-pen of small woolly • lambs a clearance was made at satisfactory, prices.
