Cabled advice, received by the local agents-for the Shaw, Savill, and Albion Company states that the cargo steamer Waiwera arrived at London on Wednesday morning. She sailed from/ Wellington on February 8. - : , ' NAVUA, FROM SUVA. In ordinary circumstances the Navna, from Suva, via Auckland, should hive reached port at 3 p.m. yesterday, but she had not arrived at a late hour last night. The south-easterly gale was probably detaining her. She should, however, arrive early this morning. '../ ;■ —■ —• ' EDAPEHU AT MONTE VIDEO, • A cable message received by the New Zealand Shipping Company states that the steamer Euapehu, which left Wellington for-London on March 10, made a call at Monte Video oh Wednesday last. ' • THE GEORGIA. It is expected that the Austrian tramp steamer Georgia will finish discharging the Auckland portion of her Now York cargo by Monday or Tuesday nbxt, and she will then leave for Wellington. TILES FOE WELLINGTON. .;. Messrs. Wunderlich, Ltd., have chartered the Italian barque King Malcolm to load a cargo of roofing tiles at Marseilles for Wellington and Sydney—to sail in Juno.' The King Malcolm is an iron vessel of 1321 tons gross and 1233 tons net register. She was built in Glasgow in 1885, and is owned by M.. Merello, of Genoa. MAEIE AND MAEJOEY GLEN. The French -barque Marie, which left Philadelphia on January 10, for Lyttelton and Dunedin, with a largo cargo of case oil, was spoken 16 days later in latitude 37dcg. N., longitude 36deg. W. Tho barque Marjory Glen, bound from Liverpool to Wellington, was spoken on January 22, in latitude sdcg. S., longitude 32deg, W. The vessel; which was then 42 days out, reported "All wall." WAEEIMOO, FEOM SYDNEY. After a very rough passage, the Union Companys Warrimoo' arrived in the stream from Sydney at 4.30 a.m. yesterday. She' cleared Port Jackson Heads at 2.30 p.m. on Saturday, and had to fight her' way ' against head wir.de and, seas the whole way. On Tuesday morning, the wind increased to a gale, and the vessels speed was in' consequence considerably reduced. Stephens Island was abeam at 3.30 p.m. on Wednesday, but as tho storm was thou at its worst, Captain Olift decided to shelter for a time near D'Urville Island. After a couple of hours' wait the struggle, was renewed, and Wellington was reached as above. After medical inspection the vessel berthed at Nor 1 north, Queen's Wharf, at 9 a.m. Cargo brought by the Warrimoo for discharge at- Wellington was as follows:-46 sacks spokes, 1393 felloes, 75 bales, shafts, 17 sacks spokes, 48 naves, 19. bales galv. pipes, 50 cases soap, 46 ingots tin, 10 orates rnberoid, 20 drums shale oil, 26 cylinders ammonia; 24 bars iron, 107 sacks cornflour, 67 pieces timber, 26 piles,, 190 cases fruit, ICO bags salt, 330 bags rice, 25 kegs cream of tartar, 29 bales corks, 60 boxes currants, 59 crates emptv bottlos, 30 cases drugs, 60 crates washers, 25 cases cheese, 31 cases paper, 14 slabs marble, 215 chests tea, 231 cases salmon, 350 bags rice, and a quantity of sundries. ... ~ In continuation of her running the Warrimoo left last night for Melbourne, via southern ports and Hobart.
