COURT OF APPEAL.
SITTINGS COMMENCE NEXT WEEK. The first session of tho Court of Appeal for'tho ;year will commence, ok Monday next, tho short vacation of tho Supremo Court lasting until that day. All necessary documents, have been filed in the following cases, whicli are therefore ready to bo heard when tho sitting opens:— James Watt and Louis Cohen, solicitors, of i Wanganui, v. 1 Aubrey James Willis, farmer, of Wanganui. His Majesty tho King v. Henry Stephen Coburn; newspaper manager, a Crown case reserved by Mr. Justice. Chapman. Tho Court will hear a motion'in regard to costs in thocaso of John Campbell v. the District Land Kegistrar at Auckland, a matter which has been held over from the last sittings. ' It is probable that the case of Dutton v. Brecn will also be heard. This is a Wellington appeal, which was ready for hearing at the last Court of. Appeal ses-. sion, but in which, the papers were filed too late. : Tho. following cases aTe also pending, and as tho papers connected with them aro likely to be ready within the nest day or tivo, they sho.uld be decided at this sitting of the Court:— .
