EASTER CAKNIVAL.
Numerous attendances continue at the carnival in Sydney Street Schoolroom, in aid of the biiildinpr fund of tho Roman Catholic Church to be erected at Wadostown. The dnr.cins by the children trained by Miss Putnam won much appreciated, and the various stalls and side-shown were well patronised. Considerable interest was also taken in tho Wellington Gas Company's display of Ran cookins;, under tho direction of Mif-s • York.
