A dancing-room in tho inn at Ockocrito, a village in Hungary, was destroyed by fire. ■ Two hundred and fifty persons were killed; th© : blazing roof burying many. SHUT UP WITH THE FLAMES. FALL OF ROOF COMPLETES THE . TRAGEDY. ; (Rec. March 29, 9.20 p.m.) Vienna, March 29. The dancing-room at Oekoerito was a barnlike - structure. It was decorated with 1 pine branches, which, having been used for a former entertainment, were' dry as'tinder. They boro Chinese lanterns and burning candles. After the ticket-holders had been admitted, the single narrow door to the building was nailed up to prevent unauthorised persons from obtaining access. When the fire broke out, tho flames spread 1 with astounding rapidity. Tho dancers, ablaze, crushed and trampled on. each other in- their rush to the' door, 'which remained closed. > Tho fall, of' : the' roof completed the tragedy,. Four hundred men, women, and children wero killed or badly burned;'
