A public meeting to promote the international monument of the Reformation, to be erected at Geneva, was held at Aberdeen on February 7, Principal Smith presiding. On the motion of Professor Paterson, Edinburgh University, seoonded by Professor Stalker, a resolution was passed expressing sympathy with the proposed erection of the monument, and satisfaction that a prominent place in the. sculpture was to be given to John Knox and the Reformation in Scotland.
