Mr. J. C. Williamson's company arrived by the Moana all well yesterday morning and everything' is in active progress for Saturday evening's production at the Opera House. Mr. Thomas Kingston, who plays "Captain Hook" and "Mr. Darling," is a.firmlyestablished favourite with New Zealand playgoers, and is sure of a hearty welcome. The original in both parts was Du Maurier, the olever'son of the author of "Trilby." Miss Lizette Parkes has been specially selected (from a great numher of aspirants) by Mr. Williamson as particularly suited.by physique and temperament te give the author's conception of the title role. Mr. Maurico Dudley will appear in his original part of "Gentleman Sfcarkey," and Mr. Fred.: Camboume as -"Smee." Miss Valentine Sydney will play "Mrs. Darling" in which she made such an impression during the Australian tour of the piece. The remainder of the cast is virtually the same as in the original production. In Glasgow .(the. centre of the Scottish art) "Peter Pan" was received with ecstasies. Dublin too caught the spirit of Barrie's fantasy. On Saturday afternoon and all day on Monday the box plans will be on view at Christeson's, opposite too Opera House.
