THE WELLINGTON CLUB.
The, annual meeting of the Welling-, ton Hockey Club was held on'•Tuesday evening at the Y.M.C.A. Rooms. The annual report and balance-cheet were adopted, and several now members elected. A vote or thanks was passed to the retiring officers for the servicewhich thejv lidd rendered during tho past year. Messrs. E. D. Bell and E.: J. Slerrie wero elected life members. Mr. Mefrie, it was mentioned, hud been, secretary for five years, during which period the club had once won the senior championship. Tho. election of .officers resulted' as follows':—President, Mr. J. H. B. Coatcs; vice-presidents, Messrs. 12. D. Bell, A. S. Bios,-.H.,G, Heed, and 1). It. Menzies; club captain,.Mr. 3. P.
