Ho had, on February 12, reached £32,000, of ; which £20,000 is represented by a Government grant. He will set out in June next in the Terra Nova, the largest whaler afloat, which is now being prepared in London docks for her voyage. > Captain Scott has interested tho public schools in providing tihe dogs and sledges, each dog or sledge being called after the school, and already the idea has been readily taken up.
