In tho cycle events'.'all the best riders throughout - New. Zca--lajid have entered, .and there promisesto be'some interesting racing. Scott, the well-known wrestler, will bo competing in tho games, while the Highland .dancing, piping, and other events havo also _ attracted many competitors. The Wellington Pipe Band has intimated that it will be present in full force. In addition, to the'miuly trophies mentioned in the programme, a silver cup, presented by Mr. D. Buick, M.P., has been allotted for most points in athletic events, and a cup donated by Mr. J., M'Konzio for most points in the Caledonian Handicap. Everything points to this meeting' being the most ; successful gathering which the society has ever held.. .... .. .......
