WORSER BAY SCHOOL PICNIC.
The annual picnic in connection with the.Worser Bay School-was held under very . favourable,' circumstances on ■ the beach last week, nearly-200 scholars taking part. The sports programme was an interesting one, being witnessed by. a large number , of residents and visitors, to whom afternoon tea was provided. Three-legged race, under 10: Queenie Gooch. and Verna Browne, 1; Kitty M'lnnes and Stella Bell, 2. Threelegged race, over 10: Avice Lonsdale and Runa Marshall, 1; Dorothy Powell and Doris Houchen, 2.
