A Tery enjoyable social was leM last night in the Unitarian. Church, when there was a large gathering of member", and friends; Mr. Geddes presided, ■ at'ii , an interesting address was given by J£r. John Gammell. Daring the evening Mrs. de la Mare gave a recitation and Miss Newton sang, the Misses Kennedy played a viola and violin duet, and Miss. M. Kennedy gave a solo on the viola; Miss Pollock gave a flute solo, and songs were suug by Mr. Cathcart and Mr; Speed. A delicious supper was served,. the cakes being supplied by Miss Lena Diniant and : others. '
